The greatest praise I can give Smart Legal is that my daughter has just purchased a property and was dissuaded by Nationwide not to use Smart Legal as it would be doubling the cost of conveyancing as she would have to use 2 solicitors.

I wish she would have used Smart Legal and paid for both.

As a first time buyer with no chain she had her offer accepted in mid-April and only got possession yesterday 2nd July 2014.

In addition there was a further delay for over a week while the solicitors had bank statements before querying an item which delayed completion even further.
